    Requirements:

    · Risk and Compliance experience: Minimum 1 year experience  

    ·To keep up-to-date with all relevant regulatory and compliance developments and to monitor all actual and potential compliance risks to the Firm.

    ·To manage/supervise compliance staff, answering AML queries and to escalate high risk issues and suspicious activity to the Head of Risk and Compliance and/or MLRO as and when appropriate

    ·To analyse new client risk profiles and advise the business in regards to the acceptance of new clients

    ·To research and provide opinions on complex AML related queries as directed by the Head of Compliance or MLRO

    ·To review client matter files (existing and new) to ensure there is sufficient ongoing monitoring

    ·To research legislation, government directives, contractual analysis and any other areas within the remit of compliance

    ·To update and implement any changes to compliance policies, practices, structures, and procedures as directed by the Director

    ·To assist with planning and implementation of compliance-related projects

    ·To identify internal training needs of fee-earners and support staff and to assist with the planning and provision of training

    ·To provide monthly updates to the firm on issues raised or trends identified

    ·Reviewing internal policies and procedures

    ·Perform risk assessments on key business activities and develop and implement a firm-wide Internal Audit plan which provides an independent and effective challenges to the 1st and 2nd lines of defence.

    ·Acting as the point of contact for staff needing clarification on Risk & Compliance queries

    ·Creating and managing the firm’s risk and incident registers

    ·Assisting with investigations

    ·Reviewing GDPR for the firm and managing data protection issues
